As part of a visionary initiative by Divine Flooring, a select group of interior designers was invited to conceptualize an interior space rooted in inspiration — with no limits, only imagination. The brief was open-ended: design a space using a new flooring style, guided by a single object and a defined design direction.

For my concept, I drew inspiration from a handmade beaded necklace — a piece rich with texture, colour, and craftsmanship. From this, I built a narrative around a Modern Mediterranean interior, channeling the warmth and elegance of coastal Spain and Italy. The result is a sun-drenched, tactile space where timeless materials, organic shapes, and grounded palettes meet contemporary form. The flooring plays a foundational role in anchoring the design — connecting the earthiness of tradition with the ease of modern living.
